Job Summary: We are seeking an Acute Care Dietitian to join our clinical nutrition team on a per diem basis. This role supports inpatient nutrition care across a variety of medical units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct nutritional assessments to determine patients' dietary needs.
- Develop and implement personalized dietary plans based on patients' medical conditions and nutritional requirements.
- Educate patients and their families about regarding their acute and/or chronic diseases
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting dietary plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required.
- Experience in clinical nutrition, preferably in inpatient preferred
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
- Per diem role with anticipated 8–16 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling with potential for increased hours based on department needs
- May include weekday, weekend, or holiday coverage
